Food: All food must be in airtight containers or ziplock bags. We can NOT accept large bags of dog food in their original packaging. To satisfy the Department of Agriculture rules, we do not accept any bag, box, cooler, etc. that is not airtight.
*If you do not provide food in acceptable packaging, there will be a $3.50 additional charge per day for us to feed your dog.
Leashes & Collars: All dogs must be restrained on a leash before entering and departing Barks and Rec. Quick release, snap style, collars are required.
Bedding: We welcome your pet’s flea-free bedding, if you prefer. We cannot accept large, bulky beds that cannot be washed. However, keep in mind that we are NOT responsible for any damage to your dog's bedding/toys, etc. We are also happy to provide bedding. We recommend you allow us to use our bedding and that you provide a towel or shirt that smells like you/home.
Chew Food: Please do NOT send rawhides, bones, pig ears, or any other chewable item that may be a choking hazard. We are happy to give your dog treats that you provide.
Toys: You may send a soft toy or two to be kept in the crate with your dog. However, we will not allow any toy that may be a choking hazard.
We do not accept responsibility for any item sent with your dog. Please understand that dogs can be destructive when boarded due to the stress level and may destroy bedding and/or toys that you provide.
